Catholics vs Convicts ND Miami shirt

October 15, 1988 marks the day the Notre Dame Fighting Irish prevailed over the undefeated Miami Hurricanes in what is known in college football history as the Catholics vs Convicts game.  The Hurricanes of Miami thought they would waltz in to Notre Dame Stadium and romp the Irish.  With its storied past and rich history, the Notre Dame football team had it in for the Hurricanes, however.  It was preppy versus criminal, good vs. evil, and heaven vs. hell.  The fight in the pregame captured the essence of the Catholics vs. Convicts game.  With tempers flared, the Fighting Irish won a close shootout by the score of 31-30.  On, October 29th, 2016, the Catholics versus Convicts rivalry is restored in what should be a game for the ages when the Notre Dame Fighting Irish play the Miami Hurricanes.

Urban Gameday pays homage to the 1988 National Champions, Irish, led by Lou Holtz with this Catholics vs. Convicts tshirt.  This Catholics versus Convicts t-shirt is retro heather gray with the green letters of the Irish and orange letters for the team on South Beach, the Hurricanes.
